As a parent of three Gen Z college students, I wait with bated breath. Your Irreversible Damage book electrified me; I have referred people to it and lent my copy as well.

I’m excited to read your investigative piece and also the new book. I felt like you were a bit absent recently. We need you. It’s really so bad, worse than you can imagine.

I know of so many Gen Z kids suffering from depression and anxiety. Looking forward to learning what is going on with this generation. It’s probably no coincidence this is the first generation exposed to social media the entirety of their formative years.

And locked down separated from face to face interaction (of which many get little in the first place).

Plus culture tells them human life isn’t unique, nothing sacred about it. Unplanned pregnancy? Easy; get rid of “it.”

No absolute truths bc God is left out of everything. I could go on & on...

Absolute truth is not about whether you believe in God or not. People in this identity politics/gender ideology cult don’t believe in biology or genetics or evolution. They seem to think humans are not biological beings or like other mammals in so many important ways. They certainly have a religion, and the religion is postmodernism.

Too much social media, too much electronic screen use in general and lack of religion/community/family belonging. Limiting screen time and social media is key, as well as getting them involved in their community and volunteering. Having strong family bonds with nuclear family +extended family.

That takes parents who aren't interested in being a friend to their kids. I'm not sure how I survived childhood without a smart phone in my pocket.

I'm not sure how I didn't fall off the edge of the Earth as a pizza delivery driver back in 1984, no GPS. I have zero innate sense of direction.

Thanks! Here's an update on reporting an "affirming therapist" for misconduct. She has uncertified "assistants" doing the therapy hours. Keep this in mind after you've rescued your daughter from the trans cult.

You absolutely helped me save my daughter, who is still teetering on the edge of all of this mess, but your book helped me not be part of pushing her off the cliff into the sea of hormones and surgery. You are one of my heroes in this battle against gender ideology.

Very excited for all of this! Planned to reach back out to schedule our podcast but figured you were in the thick of things as you’ve been MIA;)

Yes, the MIA is necessary, I find, to finish a book. Others can multi-task. I can only task. :)

Parent of two Gen Z college students here. My daughter tells me that every girl she knows and most of the guys are on anti anxiety meds, anti depressants or both. My son tells me that there are very few girls who are not part of the lgbtq crowd. What is going on with this generation?! I can’t wait to read your book to gain some insights. Thanks for doing what you do.

The push to put people on antidepressants rather than to try and get to the root of what is going on with them started with Gen-X. The documentary Letters to Generation Rx is excellent. It validates many of the things I tried to tell people about antidepressants in the 90s. We really have no idea what the long-term effects of these medications on the brain are. In the interest of full disclosure, I'm not speaking as a psychiatrist. I was a licenced practical nurse before I became disabled and have lived with depression for most of my life. When I was working in long-term care, the staff would often say "the cure is worse than the problem" when it came to psych meds. Doctors weren't going to listen to us. They prescribed the meds anyway.

After my father (RIP) had his first big stroke, he went to a LTC facility for rehab, and one of the first things they did was to put him on an antidepressant. He said he has never felt suicidal a day in his life, but that medication made him feel suicidal.

The times I broke down and agreed to try antidepressants, they did not make me feel suicidal. They made me manic and psychotic. Fortunately, the psychosis was not so severe that I was unaware of reality and harmed someone as several of the subjects featured in Letters to Generation Rx did. In the case of Effexor, I climbed up on a countertop and started preaching. With Zoloft, I felt like my brain had grown tiny hands and was trying to pick it's way out of my skull. The doctor's advice when I told him this? Stay on it. I didn't.

These young people being told that there are no harms from puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones are not being told the whole story and nor are their parents.

I love your writing. I identify closely with your anecdotes, we are about the same age and seem to have lived somewhat parallel lives. Irreversible Damage felt like lifting a veil from my eyes, everything seemed so much clearer after that. I can't wait to see what else you'll uncover for us.

We do need to see the Trans Cult problem resolved. Perhaps if we had a more free press and more lawsuits like this one:

"Chloe Cole v. Kaiser Permanente"

I’ve got three Gen Zs. The last one spent one year in a Covid coffin with no social interaction, no in person school, no peer to peer maturation opportunities....he’s a senior now and the kid *just isn’t ready* for college.

He got into a pretty good school (how I wonder...) and he has decided he doesn’t want to go. He wants to work as a “shit ass job, live in a shit ass apartment with my friends, and figure some shit out, mom”

Sigh. I think we’re gonna let him do it. And not financially support him.

(Takes another bite of cake and stares at the wall)
