Here's what happened when I tried to get a copy of Irreversible Damage from the library in 2020/21. The public library had a long wait list, so I tried my college library. They didn't have a copy, so I requested it through interlibrary loan. I could usually get books from other libraries within a few weeks, but I got an email saying they couldn't find one. After eight months of requesting and checking, I finally got a copy. The girl at the checkout desk said, "This was really hard to get" when I checked it out. From that, I'd say either every single library my library had a relationship with had a long hold list, or the libraries my college library usually got books from weren't stocking it. (This began fall semester 2020 and I got the book in June 2021.)

Thank you Ms Shrier. Your article encapsulates everything I have been ranting about for four years. How anyone could vote for the Party that put male convicted rapists into female prisons is beyond me. Those men who call themselves women are raping again, thanks to government facilitated access to women in female prisons.

20 million Democrats refused to vote for Democrats in 2024. Let's offer elected Dems the opportunity to #ReverseTheReversalofTitleIX and reinstate women's sex-based rights. Those who dig in their heels, those who stubbornly insist that “trans women” are women, those who pretend male identified athletes have magically changed their sex, those who take money from transitioning profiteers and continue the obscene destruction of the mental and physical health our youth will be fired in 2026 and 2028. Let's keep it up!
